Hello and Welcome to Wandering Spirits Global!

Wandering Spirits Global is the home of Spirited Adventures . . .
. . . capturing the heart of beautiful distilleries and the towns that depend on them
. . . answering life’s important questions, such as, how’s it made? what are the differences? why do they taste the way they do?
As we are currently based in Scotland, for the next wee while there will be an emphasis on Scotch whisky (no ‘e’) and gin.
As fortune takes us further afield, whiskey, cognac, vodka, rum, tequila (and more!) will be explored.
We do not discriminate – we will endeavour to thoroughly research all spirits and regions in good time.

Who ‘We’ Are

WanderingSpirits.Global is the creation of Chief Wanderer, Amanda Reid. Amanda is an Australian born photographer, digital nomad and whisky lover.
Amanda left Australia in 2015 to travel the world. She visited Japan, then Ireland, and upon entering Scotland (the home of her ancestors) she fell in love with an Ileach (an Islay native) who just happened to work at a distillery.
Roddy and Amanda live on Islay and have travelled extensively throughout Scotland. They’re bound for Australia at the end of 2017, where they will continue to share their spirited adventures throughout the world so fellow travellers can learn from their experiences.

If you have any questions or feedback, we’d love to hear from you! Send an email to Amanda at humble.wanderer@wanderingspirits.global or fill out the form below.
